Initial Psychiatric Evaluation

Medication management is the primary service provided here at AG. The initial visit includes a 60 minute psychiatric evaluation. Within this evaluation, the provider collects the client’s psychiatric and social/developmental history, in addition to current symptoms and additional factors that have contributed to the reason of the visit. The completion of this evaluation aids in accurately diagnosing mental health disorders and developing personalized treatment plans. 

Psychotherapy

Talk therapy is offered to allow clients the opportunity to explore their thoughts, emotions and behaviors. This form of therapy allows clients to gain insight into the underlying causes of their current thoughts and emotions, and help them to identify how their thoughts are connected to their current behaviors. Psychotherapy most frequently is conducted alongside medication management.

Follow Up Medication Management

Follow-up appointments assess the effectiveness of medication, need for medication adjustments, monitoring of side effects, and the need for additional treatment. The provider and client work as a team to develop the best treatment plan. The overall goal of medication management is to utilize medications to provide optimal functioning and manage mental health disorders.

Telemedicine 

​

Telepsychiatry services will be provided. Visits will be remote, via a HIPAA compliant videoconferencing platform. This form utilizes direct interaction between the client and provider using a laptop/computer, tablet or smartphone.
